Boiled wool overall for babies & toddlers - grow-with-me fit & suitable for sizes 44 to 116

An overall to accompany you for a long time: Our boiled wool overall for babies and toddlers is an easy-care companion for spring, fall and winter. It keeps your little one comfortably warm, allows plenty of freedom to move and grows with them for a long time thanks to its thoughtful design.

The outside of the overall is made from high-quality boiled wool made from 100% virgin wool. The inside is fully lined with soft organic cotton jersey made from 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane. This means the boiled wool doesn’t sit directly against the skin, keeping your child cozy all over.

High-quality boiled wool from Italy

Our boiled wool is made and dyed in Italy especially for petit cochon. It is WOOLMARK-certified, OEKO-TEX® tested and mulesing-free.

Virgin wool has natural properties that make it especially practical for children’s clothing: boiled wool keeps you warm, is breathable and regulates temperature. Heat and moisture can escape, keeping your child comfortably warm without overheating.

Boiled wool is naturally water-repellent. So light rain or a slightly damp sandpit usually isn’t a problem - perfect for little explorers who want to head outside even when the weather isn’t great.

Grow-with-me fit with plenty of freedom to move

Children grow quickly - but in our opinion, their clothes don’t need to keep up all the time. That’s why we designed our boiled wool overall to grow with your child across several clothing sizes.

The roomy, thoughtfully designed fit leaves plenty of space for crawling, climbing, playing and exploring. At the same time, there’s enough room for extra layers using the layering principle. There’s also plenty of room for babies wearing cloth diapers.

The long grow-with-me cuffs on the arms and legs can be folded up at first and gradually lengthened later. This lets you adjust the overall’s length as your child grows.

The soft, close-fitting cuffs have another benefit: they fit snugly around arms and legs, helping keep cold air out. In winter, the leg cuffs can also be tucked neatly into winter boots or rain boots.

Warm hands and feet for little ones

In sizes Mini, 0M and 3M, we’ve also given the cuffs a practical fold-over feature. Simply fold them over little hands and feet, like built-in socks and mittens.

This keeps little hands and feet nicely protected while you're out and about, and means you won't have to keep looking for lost socks or mittens.

Quick to put on and ready for the outdoors

Getting dressed should be simple, especially for babies. That's why our wool fleece overall opens especially wide: the button placket with natural coconut buttons extends down to the crotch, making it easy to get your baby in.

Pop your baby in, button it up - and off you go.

That makes the overall practical not just at home, but also on the go, at daycare or anywhere else where getting dressed and undressed needs to be quick.

What should I wear under a wool fleece overall?

The great thing about wool fleece is that you can adjust the clothes underneath to suit the temperature. On milder days, light layers are enough. When it gets colder, simply add another layer using the layering principle.

The roomy cut is designed to leave enough space for extra layers without restricting your child's movement.

This means the overall can be worn for much of the year - from cool spring days through fall and into winter.

Wool fleece overall in a baby carrier or stroller

The wool fleece overall is also a practical companion in a baby carrier and stroller.

In a baby carrier, your baby also gets warmth from your body. That's why they often need fewer layers under the overall. If you wear a jacket over both of you or use a baby carrier cover, that adds another warm layer.

In a stroller, by contrast, your baby moves around less. So in cold weather, you can add a blanket or footmuff.

Check the back of your baby's neck from time to time to make sure they're comfortably warm.

Made for little adventures

Whether in a stroller, baby carrier, playground, daycare, forest or sandbox: our wool fleece overall isn't just meant to look lovely - it's made to keep up with your everyday life.

It's warm, breathable, temperature-regulating and naturally water-repellent, offers plenty of freedom of movement and grows with your child for longer. The soft cuffs protect against drafts, the roomy cut leaves space for extra layers, and the smallest sizes have fold-over cuffs for hands and feet to keep little fingers and toes nice and warm.

And because we believe good-quality children's clothing shouldn't be worn out after just one season, our wool fleece overall is designed for long-lasting wear, passing on and repairs.

Lovingly and fairly handcrafted in our Berlin workshop - for all the little and big adventures outdoors.

Häufige Fragen zu Wool fleece overall with jersey lining

Was trägt mein Baby in der Trage?

Was trägt mein Baby im Kinderwagen?
